Welcome to our Web site!
MustangReview.com is little more than my collection of
On-Line resources that I was able to find while working to restore our
pair of Classic Mustangs. You can read more About Us but to be brief, my wife
and I are Mustang enthusiasts who own a pair of 1967 Mustang
Convertibles. I had these materials on another hobby website and
over time, we had far more visitors looking at the Mustang
Materials then anything else on the website. It was at that
point we decided it was time to move the
Classic Mustang materials including the photos, technical details, and various links
to a topic specific domain so that others who appreciate the art of Classic Mustang
Restoration can visit. You can see a complete listing of pages
on this website on our Table of Contents page. We are always open to suggestions
and/or additions so if
you have an idea of something we should add, please let us know!
Mustang
Forums!
I have finally managed to install FORUMS on the website to allow
visitors to this website to talk about mustangs, share their cars and
projects, ask about or share solutions to projects, or talk about
events, etc. The forums are divided up by year ( 1964.5, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973,
) as well as some
general forums. I will add additional forums and areas as
suggested or needed!
Mustang Photo Pages
Photographs of the various Classic Mustangs from 1964
1/2 to 1973 make up a considerable majority of the content of this
website. I have the various Classic Mustangs grouped
into sub pages consisting of pages for the various years (1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972,
and 1973) as
well as body specific pages for Mustang
Convertibles, Mustang Coupes, Mustang Fastbacks, Shelby Mustangs, Mach 1 Mustangs and Boss Mustangs. Each of these pages in turn has thumbnail
photos and links to pages that feature specific cars for each year or
mustang body style or type. The organization of these photos may change
but our first priority is to get images
of as many of the Classic Mustangs as possible. If you have a Classic
Mustang that we are missing, please drop me a line and
we will add it!
Now that the Classic 1964 to 1973 years are getting
fairly completed I am looking to expand the content of this website to
include all mustang models if I can. As before, I am interested
in clear photos of relatively original mustangs that show the car from
various angles. You can see what I have accumulated so far on this page. Please contact me
if you would like me to consider your mustang for inclusion here!
Useful Links Page
In the Useful Links Page you
find the resources that started this whole website moving. The links include mustang history, mustang
related forums, parts suppliers, performance links, web pages for
specific years or models, VIN decoders, mustang associations, as well
as technical advise. These links were compiled to allow us to
restore our own Classic Mustangs and grew to be much more. We
are looking for anyone that has a website that fits with ours to
E-mail us and we will add a link to your page in exchange for the same
from you!
eBay Search Page
Everybody with a Classic Mustang knows that finding the right part
can sometimes be a challenge! We have found that eBay, the Online
auction, is a great place to find just about anything. As such, I
have created a simple webpage that has a variety of instant search
links that makes it easy to look for specific classic mustang items.
Please check it out here as I get $0.05 for
each bid placed from my pages and I use the money to help pay for
this website!
Mustang Books and Magazines
Another of the things we have learned in the process of
working on a Classic Mustangs is that a few good books and a great
magazine will tell you most of what you need to know about restoring
mustangs! The best recommendation I can give to any visitor is
subscribe to Mustang Monthly magazine. It is the best resource available regardless if you
are trying to restore, maintain, or just learn about Classic Mustangs!
In our Mustang Books and Mustang Magazines pages
we have listed
a number of books and Magazines that we have found useful. One of these days,
we
plan to add reviews for as many of these books as possible. Please check them out as
having a book handy is much better than trying to
look at a computer screen while working on your classic mustang!
Another of the item that should be helpful to our
visitors is a Checklist for Inspecting a Classic Mustang. This
checklist is available as a PDF File or as a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet.
This spreadsheet was originally prepared by Dayved Moore and was adapted
it to it's present form.
If you have any Classic Mustang information that you
compiled and you are willing to share it on this website, please
contact me, and we will host your information and give you full credit
for your work.
